Out in the middle of nowhere there is a huge mansion that has been abandoned for years and years. Well, that's what people think. Inside the boarded up building there's a lot more going on than furniture collecting dust and falling apart. A few months after the building was abandoned several doctors in white lab coats found it and decided that it was perfect, they turned it into a testing station.
Whenever they find out about someone who has some disease or illness that they are interested in they send someone out to go and get that person. They basically kidnap them, make them disappear off the face of the earth then bring them to the mansion. No one except for them know about what goes on in there, the patients that they take there never return to the outside world, even when they are cured. They are lab rats, and when they become better they just make them sick again.
When the testing station was started they painted all the walls white, so that is resembled a hospital of some sort. But years have passed since then and paint is peeling off the walls in several places. It's starting to look like an abandoned building even with all the people in it.
The patients spend most of their time inside the building, either in their rooms or in communal rooms that are there specifically for entertaining or socializing. There's a small courtyard in the middle of the building that is the closest to outside they ever get. There's a small patch of grass, one big tree with a fishpond off to the side as well. There are fish in the pond too and birds in the tree usually.
There are doctors everywhere, checking up on patients every couple of minutes to write down changes on their clipboards that they carry around everywhere. There's barely any privacy in this place, patients are always being watched even when they can't see the doctor's around.
It patients had a choice there's no doubt that they would choose not to be here.. But they don't..
